Consulting
Advice from people who'd have to live with it.
Most consultants optimize for the deliverable. We optimize for the outcome — because we evaluate businesses for a living, invest in them with our own money, and know exactly what buyers and investors will pick apart later. That's the lens you're hiring.
What we do
Five problems. We're useful for all of them.
Scaling
Growth that doesn't break the business. Pricing, channels, team structure, and the sequencing most companies get backwards. We help you grow the thing that's working — not everything at once.
Operations
Margin lives in the boring parts. We find where cash and hours leak — process, procurement, org design — and fix the three things that matter instead of documenting fifty that don't.
Marketing
Not brand theater — customer acquisition that pencils. Positioning, offer design, and channels judged by one number: what a customer costs and what they're worth.
Exit preparation
Buyers pay for clean, provable, transferable. We get your numbers, operations, and story ready 12–24 months before you need them to be — when it still moves the price.
Investor readiness
We've sat on the other side of the table more times than we can count. We prepare you for the questions investors actually ask — and make sure your answers survive diligence.
Startup → enterprise
Small businesses, mid-market companies, enterprises with a stuck division, and startups that need adult supervision before a raise. The problems rhyme; the playbook adapts.
How we engage
Diagnosis first.
Always.
A blunt assessment
We start small: a short, fixed-scope diagnostic. You get our honest read on where the value is, where the risk is, and what we'd do first. If the answer is "you don't need us," we say so — it happens more than you'd think.
A short plan you can execute
Priorities, owners, numbers. Pages, not decks. If a recommendation can't survive being written in plain English, it doesn't make the plan.
Hands on the work
We stay engaged through execution — weekly, accountable, in the numbers with you. And because we're investors, aligned structures are on the table: success fees, equity, or our own capital in the round.
One more thing
The best consulting clients become portfolio companies.
More than once, we've started as consultants and ended up as investors — or brought a company to our circle when it was ready. If your business is as good as you think it is, that door is open.
